Christmas just hasn't been the same since Katrina. The old, favorite decorations no longer exist. There are a few things left, but it's not like what I picture in my mind. I guess it's time to get over the fact that I no longer have some of my old favorite xmas stuff or those red sweatpants that I've been looking for every once in a while these past 4 years. They're gone. They're not going to just materialize in my armoire.
So, while at Target, the boyfriend and I picked up a few things, mostly some things to hang outside. And I'm sure we'll make many more trips to pick up some other stuff. On the way in the store I did get a huge boner when I saw some polar bear stuff. I can't even begin to tell you how badly I want a damn polar bear. I seriously was going to beg one of my friends who worked in Alaska to bring one home for me, but sadly he passed away (miss you Scott!).
Now it's up to the 10 or so of you who read this blog to pool your funds together and get me what's #1 on my list...a polar bear cub.
Yes, I want a polar bear. I already have a pool set up that we can swim in together. There's even a raft in there for it to relax. So, all of you need to get together and figure out how you're going to surprise me with the best present ever.
If you are looking for a little something extra to get me, then you'll just have to wait for the rest of my xmas list. I can't think past a polar bear...
